Singer Iyanya Is Also Interested In Toolz Big Waist?

Iyanya
Recently, on air personality Toolz had a close up chat with Iyanya’s ex-lover, actress Yvonne Nelson and she ensured that the necessary questions were asked and answers provided.
Fast forward to now, Toolz is claiming she is still a virgin [but many are doubting her] and it seems Iyanya has an eye for eye BIG waist, because he was all over her the last time he was with her in the studio.
Anyway, I think it’s safe for Toolz to be careful of this guy that has a hit track titled ‘All I want is your Waist”. Story by Nigeriafilms.com

Selly says she and Nando kissed and did nothing more

Selly can't seem to shake off the Nando rumours.

According to some of the Chasemates, Nando and Selly could have done more than just locked lips. This was revealed by Angelo who was curious about the state of affairs between the two.

Selly however, was quick to shut him down, brushing aside any talk of any hanky panky. "Nothing is going on between me and Nando. Yes, we kissed but that's it. I liked Nando but it didn't work out, so I have moved on. We did nothing more. I would be so mad if he's telling people we did more. They love spreading rumours in that House", she said, referring to some of the Housemates in the Diamond House.

Selly seems to have come out of her shell now that she is back in the Ruby House. The sexy Ghanaian had withdrawn into her shell after Nando started giving her the cold shoulder when she was still in the Diamond House with him.

This morning, Selly was laughing and joking like old times with her fellow Ruby Chasemates.

What do you think of the whole Selly and Nando fiasco?

R2bees and Samini camps speak out on Wizkid snubbing Samini at Ghana Meets Naija

There are growing reports of a beef between dancehall artiste, Samini and Tema-based music group, R2Bees, made up of Faisal Hakeem (Paedae da Pralem) and Rashid Mugeez (Mugeez). The reports gained currency after Nigerian music star Wizkid, during last Saturday’s Ghana Meets Naija concert at the Accra International Conference Centre, refused to perform with Samini.
According sources, Wizkid refused to join Samini perform their hit song Time Bomb due to the beef between Samini and R2Bees. The Nigerian is said to have taken that stance in solidarity with R2Bees.
Wizkid and Samini were lined up as the last acts for the show, and according to the show’s itinerary, Wizkid was supposed to usher Samini on to the stage with Time Bomb.
To the disappointment of many, that never happened. Many were disappointed because it was the first time the two artistes were going to perform that song together on stage.
It is alleged that Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray, CEO of Empire Entertainment, organizers of the concert, even went back stage to talk to Wizkid and his manager about it but they refused to perform with Samini.
Sources close to Empire Entertainment explained to Myjoyonline.com that while they cannot confirm if there is a row between Samini and R2Bees, Wizkid on the night turned down the planned performance with Samini.
When we contacted Tony Pun, Manager of Samini, he stressed that there was no beef between the two artistes and that, although he has heard the reports, “Wizkid was with Samini and Timaya at the artistes room [and] they were all cracking jokes and laughing,” on the night of the Ghana Meets Naija concert.
Asked why the two artistes did not perform their hit song Time Bomb on the night, Tony explained that, it was “because both artistes had their stage act and entry. Bola Ray [and his team] changed the running order the last minute…which I didn’t know of.”
A source close R2Bees revealed to us that Wizkid had intended not to perform at the concert when he discovered that the Tema-based group was no longer on the bill as they were away in the US for the BET Awards.
Asked if Wizkid did not know that R2Bees had been nominated for the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards and, therefore, will not be able to perform at the Ghana Meets Naija concert which also came off on June 29, the source said Bola Ray signed most of the acts for the show before the BET Awards nominees were announced.
The source said there is no beef between the two artistes and that Wizkid said he was tired after performing 13 songs at the concert and therefore could not perform with Samini.
Myjoyonline.com checks on Wizkid’s twitter handle revealed this post by The Matter singer: “Performed 13 songs tonight!! The people went crazy! Hits after hits! Raaaaaah!!!!”
Are the camps of Samini and R2Bees denying a simmering feud?
A third party, who wants to remain anonymous and also knows the ins and outs of the two camps told Myjoyonline.com that although both parties are denying the existence of bad blood between the singers, all is not well.
The source said the feud between Samini and R2Bees started in November 2012 when Sarkodie and R2Bees, who were billed to perform at the Malta Guinness sponsored Top of the World Celebration concert threatened to pull out of the show on allegations that the money offered by Charter House, organizers of the concert, was not enough.
It was reported that Sarkodie and R2Bees had agreed to a performance fee of US$20,000 and US$10,000 but later reviewed the figure when they heard that US$200,000 performance fee was paid to Nigerian music group P-Square.
Although R2Bees pulled out of that show, Sarkodie went ahead to perform at the concert. Samini was a last minute call up to fill the void left by R2Bees.
The source explained that R2Bees were particularly disappointed that Samini did not turn down the offer considering the kind of ‘friendship’ that existed between them, especially between Samini and Paedae.
The source reveled that the beef has hampered attempts by Samini to record a video for the Time Bomb hit song which is currently receiving heavy rotations across the country. The song was recorded shortly before the Top of the World Celebration issue.
The source called on industry professionals to address the issue as soon as possible as it might have dire consciences on the unity of Ghanaian and Nigerian music industries

Has Samini snubbed MTN for Vodafone?

Dancehall king-Samini is on the verge of saying bye-bye to his former pay masters-MTN as he will soon be on the red-side of life with Vodafone as their brand ambassador, reports have said.

This will probably not be a new thing across the world as top international celebrities have one way or the other cross carpet or ported from one telecommunication to the other. But in Ghana, it has rarely occurred though there is always a first time for everything.

A source hinted GhanaWeb that Samini’s apparel to the recently held Ghana meets Naija event, which had no yellow stripes, was a clandestine way of preparing the minds of his followers that he was going to sever all ties with MTN.

“His attire on that event (Ghana meets Naija) was an emphatic statement that he (Samini) was not going to renew his contract with MTN,” the source stressed.

The source, however, could not state why the award winning artiste was parting ways with the company, except to say “it is due to personal reasons”.

But the questions that readily come to mind are: Is Samini confused on whether to join Vodafone or stay with MTN?

Is he cross carpeting because his popularity is fast waning?

Or let’s look at it from the angle that since his current paymasters seem not to be sponsoring any major events lately, and the clauses in the deal he has with the telecom company forbids him from being on another competing brand, this may have somewhat cut him off from the industry? It appears the dancehall king is just leaving on past glory?

As it stands, we cannot push so hard, but inasmuch as we are watching with our microscopic eyes, the fans deserve to know what is going on at every point in time. As events unfold, it is only time that will be able to provide industry watchers with the right answers.

Meet The Guy Who Wrote All Of Kaakie’s Hit Songs

If there is one thing human beings crave the most, it is attention. And when a person does something good, he expects to receive some commendation or acknowledgment.
But, that does not seem to be the case, at least, for one musician who claims to be behind the rise of one of Ghana’s budding musicians.
Kweku Obeng Amoako who prefers to be called Lingua Kat, is a reggae dancehall artiste based in Dansoman. He says he is a song writer and a composer as well.
In an interview with Joy News, he revealed that three of the hit singles recorded by female dancehall artist, Kaakie were originally his songs. These are, Too Much, Top Gyal and DC Turn Up.
He explained that he did not record those three songs because Dansoman-based music producer, Jam Master Jay thought a feminine voice would best suit the song and since he did not have the financial wherewithal to produce it on his own he had to let it go.
Lingua Kat is unhappy his efforts have not been appreciated by Kaakie’s management team as he is never credited even as the composer of the songs that shot Kaakie to the limelight.
He told Joy News’ Gladys Osei Owiredu the songs lack energy because no respect was given to the song writer.
Lingua Kat who says he has been in the music industry for the past two decades said he started off as a dancehall artist even at a time when dancehall music was not popular.
He also adds that he has been working with Samini music since the year 2000.
The good news though is that, Lingua Kat will soon be releasing his own song soon.
“I did dancehall groove where Kaakie sings the chorus and I do the verses” he said.
“I have 300 songs but they never got promoted”, he said singling out a song titled “Mama Africa” which he said “I recorded with Samini but it was never given credence. Black Rasta did the same song with Jah Amber and now he’s been nominated for it in the upcoming bass awards”.
Meanwhile he said he will start shooting a video for his yet to be released song soon

Rick Ross Sued $90,000 By TV Johnny's Jewelry Store For Unpaid Rolex Watches

Paul Wall's business partner says that Rick Ross owes his store nearly $90k for 42 karats of diamonds on three Rolex watches last year.
On his fifth solo album, God Forgives, I Don't, Rick Ross named a song "Presidential." The Elijiah Blake-featured effort was inspired by the model of Rolex watch. A new lawsuit alleges today that the Miami, Florida-based rapper recently purchased three other models of the Swiss luxury watch, but allegedly failed to pay the bill.
TMZ.com reports that Johnny's Custom Jewelry in Houston, Texas, which is reportedly owned by Johnny "TV Johnny" Dang, is suing Ross to the tune of approximately $90,000 for failing to pay for three custom watches. Jay-Z Releases Lyrics To "La Familia," Contains Lil Wayne Diss

Jay-Z takes aim at Lil Wayne, and says he's "ready for that war."
Jay-Z keeps the headlines coming, as the latest lyrics revealed from his upcoming Magna Carta Holy Grailserve as a diss towards Lil Wayne.
On Jay-Z and Kanye West's track "H.A.M.," where Jay raps, "I'm like, 'Really, half-a-billi?' / Nigga, really, you got baby money / Keep it real with niggas, niggas ain't got my lady money," Wayne took the bars as a diss towards Cash Money head honcho Birdman, a/k/a Baby.
In response, Wayne dropped "I'm Good" on Tha Carter IV, rhyming, "I got your baby money / Kidnap your bitch, get that how much you love your lady money."
Though both verses dropped in 2011, it appears Jay-Z hasn't forgotten about the bars aimed at his wife, Beyonce.
“Wanna kidnap wifey / Good luck with that bruh / You must gonna hide your whole family / What you think we wearing black for / Ready for that war / Ready for that war ready / You ain't ready, yo, you radio," spits Jay.
The two emcee's history of subliminals began in 2009, in an interview where Birdman claimed Wayne was both more lyrical and made more money than Hov. Jay brushed off the notion in an interview with Angie Martinez on Hot 97. Later, at a pre-Grammy party in 2012, Wayne spit a few bars dissing Jay-Z and Kanye West's group, The Throne.
It was also heavily speculated that Jay-Z's verse on "Watch What You Say to Me," a track from T.I.'s 2007 release T.I. vs. T.I.P. contained subliminals aimed at Wayne, but was never confirmed.
Magna Carta Holy Grail hits shelves July 4, save one million Samsung Galaxy smartphone users, who will get the album for free via app.

I ain't even know what it was. I figured it was my bracelet. It wasn't no thing, though."

5 Things Women Hate To Hear

Communication is very important in every relationship...particularly, there are words, phrases and sentences that either partner does not like to hear. Generally, here are five things women hate to hear:

1. You are really getting fat: A woman knows when she is adding weight. I mean, she checks the mirror everyday, so she knows when her cheeks are getting too puffy or when her waistline is disappearing. Simply put, you don't have to rub it in again...only encourage her to lose the weight. Don't forget to tell her that she is always beautiful too...!

2. "Is it that time of the month?": Okay, so the fact that scientists have proven that women get edgy when they are on their periods does not mean that you should attribute every of her actions to "that time of the month. Everytime you do that, you only make her seem irrational.

3. Cheesy pick-up lines: You know what I mean...doesn't make any woman feel special in any way...

4. Hey [gorgeous, baby, mama, boo, etc...]: Most women do not respond well to strangers who start off by calling them baby, gorgeous, beautiful, sexy, babe, dear, or any other condescending and objectifying term.

5. "My ex used to love it when I...": Well, you should get over your ex before going into another relationship. Comparing a woman to your ex is one thing you definitely can do to spoil her day!

Never forget, words hurt...and are memorable too. So try as much as possible to treat your woman in a special way with your words...

Tonto Dike Gets Remorseful, Advises To Say No To Drugs And Weed

Not many would have ever imagined that there would be something or anybody that could tame controversial Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh, but the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has successful done that.
Over the weekend, news went viral that the actress might be investigated over a post and picture on marijuana the actress put online, which generated controversies. The news forced Tonto to deny posting the words and pictures even though it was done on a platform she runs.
Showing remorse and probably shaken by the NDLEA threat, Tonto took to twitter to advice her fans to stay away from drugs and marijuana, which she reportedly earlier encouraged.
She wrote today, “all the best. Do some good things this month (July) and Say No To Grugs and of course, Weed (marijuana).”

Nelson Mandela’s Gravesite Is Being Prepared

Qunu, Eastern Cape - The gravesite at Nelson Mandela’s homestead in Qunu in the Eastern Cape, where the icon who is in a critical condition in hospital is expected to be buried, is being prepared to accommodate “thousands and thousands of people”.

That’s according to the construction supervisor at the site, Eric Bosman, representing Durbanville construction firm Haw & Inglis, who yesterday gave The Sunday Independent’s sister paper Weekend Argus some insight into the work being done there.

Speaking at the site, he confirmed it was being prepared for Madiba’s burial.

Twenty construction vehicles, including 10 trucks and various bulldozers, were working there non-stop yesterday. Bosman said they were creating the first temporary road to the site, built off the N2 highway and leading to the gravesite, which was expected to be completed by the end of the day.

“We started it (temporary road) two weeks ago and we’re finishing it today. It’s in preparation for the burial. This will allow mourners to drive to the site with ease. There will be space for everybody,” said Bosman.

The gravesite is situated on a high hill, the closest one to Madiba’s large peach-coloured homestead, which is adjacent to the N2 highway in Qunu.

Bosman said the site could accommodate an enormous number of people, since there were vast open fields around Mandela’s homestead. He said a section of the temporary road would be used by buses, while another section would be utilised by taxis and bakkies.

“He will be buried here,” he said, pointing to crop of aloes just below the top of the hill.

“The minibuses will come out there. And that one is for the buses,” he gesticulated as he pointed to the areas to be designated as drop-off zones for what is expected to be one of the biggest funerals to be seen in South Africa.

Bosman also pointed to a section far below the gravesite, and closer to Mandela’s homestead, where he said a “big tent” would be erected.

Two weeks ago Weekend Argus reported there was division over where Madiba should be buried – some felt he should not be buried at his homestead, but rather at the Mandela family burial site, situated on the opposite side of the N2 highway from Mandela’s homestead.

However, Bosman was adamant yesterday Mandela would be buried at his homestead.

Meanwhile, the area is wall-to-wall with journalists, photographers and camera people, who have flocked to the area as Mandela lies critical in hospital.

A few weeks ago only two or three media organisations were in Qunu, but that number has jumped to about 20 in the past week.

Most were firmly entrenched outside the Mandela homestead on Thursday and Friday, although there was very little action to see.

Everyone rushed to Mthatha, about 35km away, on Friday when news of the family feud over the burials of three of Mandela’s children broke.

The court action has pitted 16 members of the Mandela family against Mandela’s grandson Mandla Mandela, who is alleged to have moved the remains to Mvezo, where he is chief. Neither Mandla or other members of the family were at the Mthatha High Court however, so for the news teams, it was literally back to the drawing board.

Wrong Reasons Why People Marry

Marriage is school for two person where you never graduate from. Admission into the great institue should not include any of the list below PLEASE.

1. Good food. – Sorry, you don’t need a wife to eat good food. House-help or fast food can help.

2. sex – This is part of reason for marriage but should not be the only reason.

3. Solution partner – It is true that you need someone you can pour your heart to at all time. But you need to know that the other person also needs your care. If all you want is only yourself to be heard without considering the other person, then what you need is a counsellor, not a husband or wife.

4. Beauty – Never marry because someone is beautiful or handsome! Beauty fades. Simplicity is the key, however you must be attracted to the person.

5. Money – You may have financial need but marrying someone just because he/she is rich won’t sustain the marriage

6. Pressure -
“I am getting old”, “My friends are all married”, “My family are complaining” – These and many more are the excuses some people marry!. But remember that you are the one that will live with that spouse and not your parents or friends.
